Book launch: Wearable Objects and Curative Things

April 30, 2024

Birkbeck, University of London, 29 May 2024, 18.00 to 20.00.

Wearable Objects and Curative Things: (Palgrave, 2024) explores the intersections between wearable objects and human health, with particular emphasis on how artists and designers are creatively responding to and rethinking these relations.

Join book editors Dawn Woolley, Fiona Johnstone, Ellen Sampson and Paula Chambers, series editor Suzannah Biernoff, and chapter authors Jana Melkumova-Reynolds and Anna Jamieson to a discussion of the themes of the book and a wider conversation about new visual and material approaches to the critical medical humanities.
