This participatory workshop explores how bodies move in and through practices of care both within and outside of healthcare settings, and what a focus on the moving body/moving bodies can reveal in terms of the aesthetics and therapeutic potentials of these practices. Alongside presentations, the day will have opportunities for discussion and movement! It follows on from a keynote presentation by James Thompson on Care, Aesthetics and Movement on Tuesday 9th  July (16.00 to 17.30). The full programme for both days is available here.

Care Aesthetics & Moving Bodies is convened by Emily Tupper (Moving Bodies Lab), Fiona Johnstone (Visual and material Lab), and Cassandra Phoenix (Moving Bodies Lab).
