Supported by Wellcome, the Discovery Research Platform for Medical Humanities at Durham University is creating an accessible database to map the world’s medical and health humanities research organisations, institutions, and centres.

This project aims to help raise the visibility and connectivity of research in the medical and health humanities. In time we hope this resource will become invaluable to researchers, students, and anyone wanting to discover more about the health and medical humanities locally and globally.

Information collected through our survey will be used to create an accessible online database of formal medical and health humanities research structures around the globe. While the pedagogic activities of research centres will be noted in the database, this is not intended to be a guide to teaching programmes.

To be part of this project, please complete the survey by 1 August 2024.

Please ensure you are happy with the information you provide being made publicly available. There will be an opportunity to edit entries upon request and an invitation to update the database once per year.
