We are delighted to welcome to Janne-Elin Yttri, MD, who joins the Discovery Research Platform as a Visiting PhD student for the next two weeks.
Janne is Head Psychiatrist for Region Zealand and Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Copenhagen. Undertaking her PhD with both institutions, Janne’s research focuses on schizophrenia, auditory verbal hallucinations, psychosis bipolar disorder and diagnostic differentiation.
While in Durham, Janne will be working on her PhD on the phenomenology of auditory verbal hallucinations in schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. She will be presenting on her work and collaborating with our Co-Director Ben Alderson-Day to explore overlaps between her data and archive data from Hearing the Voice.
