Moving Bodies Lab Collaborator features in upcoming exhibition

This July, Moving Bodies Lab collaborator Dr Véronique Chance is undertaking an 8-day tracked run from London to Cambridge for the exhibition Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.

Held at the Stephen Lawrence Gallery in the University of Greenwich, this exhibition brings together contemporary artists and artist collaborations from across the world who respond to, thematise and critique wellness narratives in organisational and work-related contexts.

Véronique’s exciting contribution involves an 8-day return, live-streamed and tracked running journey from London to Cambridge, following her commute route. Using tracking and data technologies, Véronique’s work will highlight the daily labour and physical effort of an absurdly slow commute to and from work, enabling viewers to experience the landscape and terrain that normally passes us by on a fast journey by train.

Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger opens with a Private View on the 15th of July. Véronique’s run will be live-streamed and tracked into the gallery, and accessible live online from the 16th to 23rd of July.
