The WellSpring in the Discovery Research Platform for Medical Humanities is a collaboration with the peer-led Recovery College Collective (ReCoCo) in Newcastle upon Tyne.

It will create space for people with lived experience to generate new questions and priorities for research into mental health, inequalities and injustice, and to become the agents of research, not just the participants.

Led by Evelyn Tehrani, in collaboration with Georgia Corbett and the students at ReCoCo and researchers from across the DRP-MH, The WellSpring is a rich and generative space where people will connect ideas, exchange insights, and experiment creatively and scientifically to engage with the challenges of mental distress and explore how collaborative and co-produced research can improve mental health services.
