The Visual & Material Lab: Grant success!

In collaboration with partners at Queen’s University and Uppsala University, the Visual & Material Lab have secured Matariki Seed Funding of £24,840 for a new project on “Curating Cultural Heritage for the Medical and Health Humanities” (2024-2025). The project explores how medical cultural heritage can be sensitively curated to support medical and health humanities research, education and public engagement towards the goal of increased health equity. 

The project PI is Allisson Morehead at Queens University (Canada), Co-Is are Fiona Johnstone, Durham University and Cecilia Rodéhn, Centre for Gender Research at Uppsala University.
