Back in April 2026 our Strategic Engagement Group led a Lab Summit, reflecting on how collaborations between the Health sector, the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector and research institutions play an important role in tackling health inequity and creating meaningful change for communities.
We were delighted to see this short article on academic and community partnerships reflecting on the Summit by Fran Morland, Research Partnerships Coordinator, on the VONNE blog.
The SEG is made up from members of the VCSE, research and health sectors. They have played a crucial role in the development of our research and engagement plans within the Platform, including advising on our pioneering Medical Humanities in Practice Fellowship scheme, our communications strategies, and helping us amplify opportunities for community involvement in research.
