A warm welcome to Michelle Reeve, who joins the Discovery Research Platform until September 2026 as the Digital and Communications Officer.
With a PhD in biomechanics, Michelle is an experienced researcher and science communicator. She has worked for a number of both local and national environmental and wildlife charities in communications roles, and has recently developed her tech skills working in software companies.
Michelle’s specialties lie in scientific writing, digital communications and project management, and enjoys interrogating and interpreting data. She is really looking forward to working with the team at the Discovery Research Platform for Medical Humanities, and learning about the fascinating projects that the labs are working on.
Outside of work, Michelle is a keen trail runner (both with and without her dog), gym-goer and plays the baritone horn in a local brass band.
We are looking forward to working with Michelle and to welcoming her to Durham University.
