A warm welcome to Teti Dragas who joins the Narrative Practices Lab on secondment from the Durham Centre for Academic Development (DCAD).
Teti is an Associate Professor in DCAD, with a multi-disciplinary background derived from work across Literary Studies, Creative Writing, TESOL/English Language Teacher Education, Higher Education Learning and Teaching and Academic Development. She has considerable expertise in the use of narrative methods and digital storytelling in education and research as evidenced by her project Digital Storytelling Durham.

During her secondment, Teti will be leading the development of a CPD offering on ‘Narrative Inquiry,’ which will draw on creative narrative methods to support skills and knowledge development for clinicians and non-clinical practitioners working in health and social care. She will be working closely on this initiative with Mary Robsonfrom our Creative Facilitation Unit.
We warmly welcome Teti to the Discovery Research Platform for Medical Humanities and look forward to working with her over the next twelve months.
